Crawley Town have secured the services of midfielders Ben Smith and Barry Cogan for another season.Both players had talks with other Blue Square Premier clubs but have signed new one-year deals.

Crawley boss Steve Evans: "It's great to have Smudger and Barry on board for next season.

"I must admit that earlier this week I thought both of them would be leaving us and they would have been hard to replace," he added.
