Crawley Town V Swindon at Broadfield Stadium - Match Preview

All change for Crawley?

Crawley have a host of players waiting to make their debuts ahead of the visit of Swindon.

Boss Richie Barker has brought in five new faces since their last outing, a 2-0 defeat at Tranmere three weeks ago.

Full-back Mustapha Dumbaya joined on a free transfer after leaving Portsmouth and centre-half Connor Essam arrived from Gillingham to replace Claude Davis, who left for Rotherham.

Barker also brought in Jamie Proctor from Swansea and fellow striker Jimmy Spencer on loan from Huddersfield, although the latter has been carrying a knee injury.

Teenage goalkeeper Johnny Maddison will be on the bench after joining on loan from Sunderland in place of Michel Kuipers, who has left the club.

Midfielder Matt Sparrow could make his full debut after coming on as a substitute at Tranmere, but defender Kyle McFadzean is still out as he recovers from a virus.

Swindon will be without hamstrung duo Joe Devera and Miles Storey for the televised clash.

Storey has not featured since late November while 25-year-old left-back Devera had to be withdrawn after just 31 minutes of the 0-0 draw at Leyton Orient in midweek.

Meanwhile, Charlton loanee Danny Hollands has returned to The Valley for treatment after being ruled out for a month after picking up a fifth metatarsal stress fracture in the 2-0 win over Shrewsbury.

Centre-back Troy Archibald-Henville is still sidelined following a knee operation and treatment.

Victory over Crawley would extend the Robins' unbeaten run to nine games.

Paulo Di Canio's men currently sit just six points below the automatic promotion places in npower League One.
