Crawley Town V Yeovil at Broadfield Stadium - Match Preview

Double blow for Crawley

Crawley are without defenders Claude Davis and Joe Walsh for the visit of Yeovil.

Davis accumulated his fifth booking of the season in the 2-2 draw with Walsall on Saturday and Walsh was shown a red card late on for a professional foul.

Boss Richie Barker will also have to make do without on-loan forward Jonathan Forte, who scored the equaliser against the Saddlers, after he returned to parent club Southampton.

However, the Red Devils are boosted by the return of midfielder Hope Akpan following a four-match ban and defender Kyle McFadzean is hopeful of shrugging off a virus.

Skipper Gary Alexander has been amongst the substitutes for the last two matches due to his struggle for goals and is an option to fill Forte's void.

Yeovil boss Gary Johnson could call on Reading loanee Gozie Ugwu after he featured for the Royals' development side against Everton's Under-21s last week.

The player, 19, has not featured since the start of October with a hamstring injury.

Meanwhile, Yeovil have extended the loan of Fulham defender Daniel Burn, 20, until January. The player has been a regular since moving from Craven Cottage and the loan deal has been extended for the second time.

Johnson has spoken about the importance of consistency in his starting line-up and is unlikely to make too many changes as the Glovers look to get back to winning ways after the 4-1 defeat at Swindon.

The Glovers are 12th in npower League One ahead of the trip to Crawley, a side six places and six points ahead of Johnson's men. They will be without Ed Upson again through suspension.
