Vansittart, who was just 16 years old when he made his first Reds debut has put pen to paper on a two-year deal and becomes the club's first summer capture.

In his original spell at Crawley, the striker grabbed 44 goals from 118 appearances before leaving for Sutton United in 1995.

A switch to the Conference with Dover Athletic followed before joining Farnborough where he was restricted to just 14 games last season, scoring six times.
