The former Arsenal midfielder curled a shot into the top right-hand corner from 20 yards to seal a thrilling game.

Woking had taken the lead after 32 minutes thanks to a wonder goal by topscorer Justin Richards. He received the ball with his back to goal just inside the area, spun and curled his effort in off the far post past the despairing dive of keeper Phil Smith.

Daryl Clare almost hit back for the Reds ten minutes before the break with a spectacular overhead kick which flashed over with Shwan Jalal well beaten.

However, the Crawley marksman was not to be denied as he levelled from the spot just before the hour mark. The penalty was awarded after Richards was adjudged to have handled a shot from Simon Wormull.

Clare put the home side ahead four minutes later with a brilliant header from a pinpoint cross from Neil Jenkins.

The former Boston striker almost completed his hat-trick soon after with a turn and shot which Jalal did well to stop low to his right.

Crawley were left ruing that miss as Selley stepped up to equalise.

And Woking could have snatched it in injury time when Steve Ferguson curled his shot inches wide from ten yards with only Smith to beat.
