Two goals in 60 seconds for Crawley completed a superb comeback to beat bottom side Forest Green Rovers at the Broadfield Stadium.

Reds twice came from behind to level the scores at half-time before snatching the points with a double salvo after the break.

Rovers were given the perfect start by Charlie Griffin, who pounced on a mistake by Reds keeper Phil Smith from a cross by Jefferson Louis to nod into an empty net.

The advantage lasted just five minutes as Allan Tait beat the visiting offside trap to latch onto a through ball by Charlie MacDonald and slotted into the bottom corner.

Crawley could have had another when Robert Traynor blazed over from the edge of the box before Rovers regained their lead on the counter attack after 27 minutes.

Richard Hodgson threaded a pass into the path of Charlie Griffin, who beat Smith at his near post with a low drive.

However, Rovers were again unable to hold on to their lead as Crawley responded on 32 minutes with a disputed penalty.

Charlie MacDonald was brought down by Darren Davies, who looked as though he got a touch on the ball, but the referee disagreed and MacDonald made no mistake from the spot.

Crawley killed Rovers off nine minutes after half time. Midfielder Fiston Manuella, making his first home start of the season, cracked a superb 30- yard shot into the top right-hand corner.

Moments later, MacDonald increased his tally to seven goals in 10 games with a low finish from the edge of the area which wrong-footed Rovers keeper Steve Perrin.
