Unlikely comeback sees Reds past third round

Charlie MacDonald netted twice as Reds pulled off a shock comeback from two goals down at home to Worthing in the FA Trophy.

A well-organised Worthing outfit had taken the lead through a Stewart Holmes penalty, before they stunned the home side when Nko Ekoku slid past goalkeeper Phil Smith for a second ahead of the half-time interval.

The second period saw Town desperately trying to get their game going, but it took until the 73rd minute for MacDonald to reduce the arrears with a sharp turn and finish.

Moments later MacDonald struck again to level matters, before substitute Danny Davidson reacted well to tuck past Worthing keeper Mark Ormerod for a late win.
